Ball, 49, of Cato, died late yesterday afternoon In Onondaga General Hospital, Syracuse, where be had been in critical condition since the accident. A fractured skull and Internal Injuries caused his death. Two-men on their way home found Ball lying on the sidewalk bleeding and called Onondaga General ambulance and police, according to the Investigation by Patrolman Brand and Acting- Detectives Edward Dillon and Harry Swain of Syracuse.nall, who was employed on the farm of Herb Titus near Cato, according to information obtained by police, went to Syracuse Saturday night to consult relatives at the Tully Street address about the will of an aunt. It was arranged that he should stay over night with them at the Tully Stree place. He went there early yesterday morning and retired on & cot on the second floor porch. He was heard to get up and walk around about 4 o'clock In the morning. It is believed he was trying to get in the house, but missed bis direction and fell over, the three-foot railing around tberporch.
    Surviving are three brothers, Elmer Ball, at whose home the fatality occurred; William Bail of Red Creek, and George Ball ot Auburn. The body was taken to the morgue and later to the funeral parlors of F. J. £ A. E. Snyder pending funeral arrangements.
