LESLIE JONES Mother of Resident: Services were held in Montezuma, N.Y., this week for Mrs. Frances Mae Jones, 69, mother of Mrs. Carter L. Dorzbacher of €2 Embree St. Mrs. Jones, a life-long resident of the Cayuga County community, died March 14 while on a visit to her daughter. The funeral was held Monday at the Montezuma Methodist Church, of which Mrs. Jones was • member. Interment was at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron. Mrs. Jones, whose husband. Leslie, died in 1962, was post master of Montezuma for 15 years prior to her itMircment in 1965. She and her husband also operated a general store for 40 years. Born Aug. 16. 1898, Mrs. Jones was the daughter of John and Mary (Herroldt Thurston. Besides her daughter, surviv-ors include a son, Leon Jones of Montezuma, two sisters and six brother.
