Services will be held at 2 pm
    Thursday at the Stevenson Funeral Home, Savannah, with the Rev. Arnol d Mellin, pastor of the Montezuma Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Weedspprt Rural Cemetery.

    Grief-stricken throngs of men, women and children, among whom were many priests and sisters of religious orders, filled to overflowing St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church at Montezuma today to pay their mournful tributes at the final services for four members of the McNamara family. The four were killed in an automobile acci­dent between a motor car and a tractor-trailer near Watkins Glen last Thursday afternoon.

    Three other members of this same stricken MoNamara family were unable to attend the rites—injured in the crash, they lie in critical condition in the hospital at Montour Falls.

    Sons Conduct Rites
    Preceding the church services, rites were conducted at the Mc­Namara family home by Rev. Joseph McNamara of the Rochester pro-Cathedral and Rev. Elmer Mc­Namara, a professor at St Ber­nard's Seminary, Rochester, sons of Mrs. Lillian McNamara, who was one of the victims of the mishap.


    Laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Weedsport, were the bodies of Mrs. Lillian McNamara, her son, Bernard MoNamara, and the two young children of the latter, Elizabeth Ann and John MoNamara of Corning.

    Officiating at the interment were Fathers Joseph and Elmer McNamara, and Rev. John Guy of Montezuma.

    Bearers were Martin Scanlon, William Fraher, John Fraher,Matthew Doherty, John C. Maroney and Martin Nugent and Charles Masson and John A. E. Van Ditto of Port Byron.

    Miss Mary C. McNamara of Shortsville, formerly of Monte­zuma, died Wednesday of last week in St. Ann's Home in Roch­ester after a long illness.

    At one time she had operated a dress shop in Rochester.

    Surviving are four brothers. Rev. Elmer McNamara, a professor at St. Bernard's Seminary in Rochester; Rev. Joseph McNamara, pastor of St. Anthony's Church in Groton, Edwin McNa­mara of Shortsville and Matthew McNamara of Montezuma; two sisters, Mrs. William Stack of Syracuse and Mrs. Ralph Moore of Ossining; several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services were held on Saturday in St. Dominic's Church in Shortsville. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Weedsport.
