Morris P Martin (son of John and Joannah) says that his mother's name was Johanna Riley. This implies some sore of relationship between these two families. Hugh Qulnn , an Old Resident of Centerport, Expires Suddenly.
Hugh Quinn was found dead in his home at Centerport Sunday afternoon at about 4 o'clock. The cause of death is not definitely known. Quinn was a man of 70 y£ars and for some time past had been "living retired in a small house in Centerport. He was
possessed of some means but lived alone, preparing his own meals and doing all his own housework. He was seen on the street on Saturday afternoon and appeared'to be quite as well as usual. On Sunday morning the house remained closed and Quinn did
not appear. In the afternoon a neighbor, Aaron Tryon. siaspected that something had happened to him and made his way into the house. He found Quinn lying on the floor of the sitting room and he was found to be dead. There was a nauseating smell in the
room: it was evident that the old man had sufiered severely from bowel and
stomach trouble before his death. It is supposed by the neighbors that hedied on Saturday night. His bed bad not been disturbed. The coroner was not called; the body was at once taken left in charge by an undertaker. Quinn was almost alone in the world. His only living relatives were a nephew, Hugh Quinn. and two nieces, Mrs. James Whaien aud Mrs. Patrick Campbell, all of whom live in Centerport.
The funeral will be held from the Catholic church a t Weedsport at 4 o'clock on Wednesday.
