Funeral services will he held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon with Masonic services. Rev. Wesley Kehler, pastor of the Montezuma Methodist Episcopal Church will officiate.

    PORT BYRON - Gordon B. Hitchcock, 82, of Main Street, Port Byron, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
    Mr. Hitchcock was born in Port Byron, the son of John and Lettie Rancier Hitchcock. He was a graduate of Port Byron High School. He was a veteran of World War II, serving his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at RN Hitchcock Co., of Port Byron, as an electroplater for more than 30 years. He served as a justice of the peace for the village for 21 years. He was a member of the Port Byron Masons Lodge No. 130.
    He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty A. Applen Hitchcock; two sons, Alan Hitchcock and his wife, Cindy, of Port Byron, and Ron Hitchcock and his wife, Michele, serving in the Army, stationed in Germany; three grandchildren, Richard and Amanda Hitchcock and Kelly Lupien; and two great-grandchildren, Bethanni and D.J.
    Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at the Audioun Funeral Home, 218 Main St., Port Byron. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. from the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron.
    In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to the Port Byron Masons Lodge No. 130, Port Byron, NY 13140.

    He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty; seven children, George Hitchcock and his wife Danelle of Elbridge, Margaret Weller and her husband Edwin of Jordan, James Hitchcock and his wife Debbie of Florida, Pam Terpening and her husband Jim of Weedsport, Robert Hitchcock and his wife Barbara of New Jersey, Donna McCracken and her husband Jim of Truxton, and David Hitchcock of Virginia; four brothers, Gordon Hitchcock, Robert Hitchcock, both of Port Byron, David Hitchcock of Weedsport and Clarence of Idaho; two sisters, Margaret Payler of Savannah and Mary Ruth Dellostritto of Auburn; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 14, from the Audioun Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dillon Morris officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 13, at the funeral home, 218 Main St., Port Byron.
